1800 still works?

CAll 1-800 to USCIS 1>2>2>6>1 after entering receipt No and then 1>3>4, The IO said I didn't dial in correct way for pending 485 and refused to tell anything. I was asked to redial for correct section. It did work before for me by dialing in this way and just wondering if you have same problem?
