I got I-140 approved on

outstanding researcher. I filed I-140 &I-485 concurrently on Match last year and I have my EAD. My question is : May I change job to a similar one? I checked with my lawyer, I was told it is better to keep my current position.but it is difficult for me to keep my current job. does anyone know if I am going to get trouble on change my job?
