xiaobaitu, pjiang help: H!B amendment URGENT!!!!!!!!

My lawyer filed my h1B petition by using a wrong job title. The h1b was approved by USCIS this May. I found this error just today and the lawyer said I need to file an amendment petition to correct the job title. But I HAVE TO go back China next week. My current status is:

F1 on OPT grace period.
H1B is approved.
Amendment will be filed to correct my job title.

My questions are:

(1) can I leave the U.S. during the time of amendment pending? Will my H1B approval be void if I left the U.S. during the amendment pending?

(2) can I have visa interview to get H1B visa stamp in Beijing during my amendment pending?
