all the lawyers and USCIS ask 485 filers to wait for AP approval then leave US...

for people who files AP (AP Pending), but leave US, it will automatically means to give up AP...it might cause to give up 485.

I read this from immigraion-law.com Qs and As about 485 filing...

EVERY YEAR, USCIS send notes and ask people to apply for AP to leave and come back US!!!!!!!
