因為一旦填了 I-140 (雇主也好，自己也好)，移民局還沒收到申請也好，自己還沒收到 Receipt 也好，或還沒 Approve 也好，或拒了也好，都應看著是［開始］申請過了移民簽證。(At this point, you should answer "Yes" to Q36 on DS-156 if you apply a visa @ consulates overseas.)

這便是拙文將 ＂Have you ever before applied for permanent resident status in the U.S.?＂ 的答案由 I-485 變成了 I-140，更為苛刻了。
