律師 份量

When I applied for gc, I had a 律師, but I have been felt sorry to have had a 律師. To be frank, My 律師 is very nice and too careful. Although I got gc in less 20 months, most of my firends got gc within 15-18 months. A friend working at Intel got GC in about 1 year. Maybe around Year2002-2003, gc is easy, especially in CA.

Last time I mentioned a friend who got a letter from NIH program director (without letterhead), his 律師 kept pushing my friend and hoped him to get headletter recom from director. His 律師 said that there was little hope to get approved and had been delaying in filing 140. My friends told his 律師 to file 140 asap (otherwise he would change 律師) and stressed that it is not possible to get headletter recom. This 律師 was surprised to get approval letter in a couple months.
