a hypothetical question: withdrawing I-485

1. How to withdraw I-485 effectively and soonest after I-485 was sent out?

(for example, some people may have rushed out the file lacking critical items; or people simply losing confidence and interest in GC--after all, GC may come back to bite you if you work abroad.)

1a) Sent out before arrival to USCIS
1b) Received by USCIS, before money is cashed
1c) Received by USCIS, money cashed
1d) After notice of receipt

2. If I-485 were withdrawn, and we later need to visit US (without the possession of AP or H), are we considered free of "immigration inclination"?
