請問我現在可以交485嗎？謝謝。

我的140是在五月份交的，現在pending。 H1B今年九月底到期。今天我問公司HR的人什麽時候辦H1B延期和提交485，她說要先等幾周看看140的情況。不明白為什麽要等啊？我到時候會不會有什麽麻煩或風險？這是她的原話：

The H1B we will work on in a few weeks. I have to hold off for a few different reasons, and we have some time. I’ll let you know if I receive an update on your I-140. Otherwise, we’ll start your H1B extension and 485 in a few weeks.

請問大家我該怎麽做呢？不想讓HR的人浪費時間。
