小白兔請進：very very very bad news today

1. a month ago, senator told us the FBI name check has already been completed 2 years ago and result were forwarded to USCIS at that time

2. we asked Senator to check with USCIS, we were informed our applications will be with an supervisor for review soon. (awaiting for an assignment to officer)

3. today i just got another e-mail from USCIS saying 'Your file was ordered and it was reviewed by a I-485 supervisor. It was determined that your FBI name checks are still pending. '

what the heck is this? why we are still pending the namecheck even the it was already cleared 2 years ago? Is it possible that USCIS considers the previous name check 'expired' and request a new one?

This is so screwed up.... Please please advice....
