Approval Notice Sent

On 9:00am today I got the magic e-mail saying approval notice sent for our I-485 cases. My spouse, child and I were all approved. My heart almost halt, what a big releif after waiting for 3.5 years. Here is my time line:

EB2 LC PD: 12/2003
I-140 / I-485 concurrent filing: 12/2004
I-140 AD: 2/2005
First FP: 4/2005 (code 3)
PD became current: 5/2006
Inquiry to USCIS about case status: 9/2006 and 12/2006 - Name check pending
Letter to Congressman and First Lady: 1/2007
Case tranferred from VSC to TSC: 3/2007
Got letter from FBI ref First Lady: 4/2007 - Name check in process (So disappointed)
Letter to Vice president attached with FOIA report: 4/2007
Second FP: 5/2007 (Code 1, no LUD after that)
Infopass: end of May 2007 - Name check still pending, spouse clear
I-485 AD: 6/19/2007


I would thank this forum for the valuable info and encouragement I got during the painful journey.Such info helps me to make a lot of big decisions especially in the later stage waiting for NC. I almost wanted to file WOM after the infopass but decided to wait and see after I read this forum and immgration portal.
