I know a few cases in EB1(L1) all received their GC within a year in the past 2 years. One got 485 approved within 2 months in 2005, one received GC in the mail just a few days after priority date became current last year. There was only one case I know it took almost 3 years to get 485 approval since 485 was filed shortly after 9/11.
