2005 年報稅被罰，影響綠卡申請？

I got a notice from irs that i owe additional tax, interest and maybe a penalties. I checked my 1040 forms and realized that i actually made a mistake. I owe about 300$. I will pay my additional tax and penalties. I just want to know if it will effect my my green card application and what I can do to reduce the effect in my future green card application?
