At least when I was in college, students with good academic records will be approached and encouraged to join the party and all good students leaders with good academic records or good at manged activities are in the party, and because of the environment influence, lots of people ted their application. I think most people just do what others do and what seems to be the right thing to do. That does not mean they 沒有任何信念和道德觀念.
