A lot of persons think it is not necessary to send I-140 approval copy to INS, but, personally, I prefer to send it, the reason I have explained before. For you, maybe you should talk with your laeyer first, if he/she does not want to do it, of course you can sent it yourself. When send, except I-140 approval copy and I-485 receipt copy, you should write several sentences to show what purpoe of your mail.
