"Higher Education" is a generic term for the level of education after secondary schools--i.e. post-secondary education. It is a level of education that confers post-secondary degrees, such as certificate, associate degree, bachelor degree, Masters, Ph,D, etc.
"Advanced" is not an appropriate term for post-secondary education, but you may earn an advanced degree suchas masters or doctorate, as opposed to any bachelor or below.
