I think you should go back to help your daughter to get the visa. Of course you will have some risk of not being able to get a visa for yourself, but the chance for you to get an H1 visa is very big. You may want to try go to Canada or Mexico to get your h1 visa first, but it also has risk. You love your daughter so much, why don't you want to take some risk?
