I am just here to check if anybody gave me some answer and I saw your message. I took a matiernity leave when I was holding H1B visa, because I had to, I had my baby. I do not think you need to worry about this, because even you leave for a while, but you still the staff of your company. If you have PTO, you got pay, if not just withour pay.
