try to file I765 with ur recipt of I485~ u can get the EAD withi

it is very eay to fill out the form downloaded from uscis.gov and mailed to chicago center with ur status: AOS(adust of Status)

they will notify u to do FP and then mail u an EAD card which is valid for 1 yr and then renew it if ur case isnt approved before the expired date
