H1B extension after 6 Years with I-140 pending,Pls Help!

I have to work with my HR to get my H1B and my son's H4 extended on a year basis. It is very time demanding now. Currently I can only think of the following items:

1. LC Approval notice
2. copy of passports
3. copy of my H1 and my son's H4 vist
4. My HR's offer letter
5. copy of I-94
6.What forms we need to download from INS?
......

Anything else?

Please help! My attorney is too greedy and too expensive, so we dicide to handle this ourself.
