xiaobaitu: Question NIW, Thanks!

My wife ted NIW(EB-2) I-140 (Self Petition, No job offer/sponsorship) in March 2006. We also got married in March after she ted I140, but before we filed I-485 together in April 2006.

Her I-140 (NIW) was approved in July, 2006 and in August,2006 she got green card. However, my I-485 is still pending now as derivative beneficiary.

My question is: Does my wife has to work in NIW related field as indiated on her I-140 until my I-485 goes through?

Or due to the nature of NIW petitioned by herself and she's already a PR, her job type doesn't affect my I-485 adjudiction?
