I don't think my background is strong enough, and I try to use more strong recommendation letters as a compensation. Who knows whether it will work or not.
My qualifications:
Ph.D
one award at an international conference
7 publications, only 2 of them are journal paper.
probably no citation
Sigma Xi member and membership for an international association
did not review paper for other journals
12 recommendation letter from 5 contries.
