question for "exchange ontario driver license in canada"

PLease help. I will move to Canada.Somebody told me I can use my current US driver license for over 2 years to get the Ontario driver license. My driver license is from New Jersey. Is it ok to exchange without any test? Or other Canadian states accept New Jersey license? Any suggestion is welcomed. _:o
