小白兔和各位好心人: Urgent advice needed

I am changing my job. My new H1B was approved on Oct.10 and new position starts Nov. 01 (tomorrow). I have been working full time for my current employer until today.

I just get to know that my current employer (a small and private company) does not pay the last half-month salary for any one who leaves this company for any reason.

The problem is that without payment for the last 15 days (consequently, no pay stub for the same period), I will have a gap of 15 days between two H1Bs.

How can I figure out? Your kind help is highly appreciated!
