More infor：2nd finger print, why not for my son (9 year old)?

Our first FP was June, 2005, after filing 485 in April. My son did receive the first FP notice, they just did a simple FP on thumb, and took a photo. and his code was different from ours (2 vs 3 as I can remember). This time I even didn't receive the notice for him, assuming it is not needed.
