Both I-140 (eb-1b) and I-485 were approved today by VSC. Received the approval emails.

Honestly I don't feel much excited. I am feeling numb after such a long and humiliating procedure.

I really hope our home country continue to develop fast so that in the near future our people will no longer be lured into this hole...

I-140: RD 9/2005, AD 10/26/2006 (the only LUD is the approval LUD). No RFE
I-485: RD 10/2005, LUD 11/2005, 12/2205, 9/2006, AD 10/26/2006. No RFE.

Some more info:
My name is extremely rare in both Ping Yin and Chinese, but still it took them 10 months to clear my background check.
I called 3 times since Aug and every time were told NC is clear. My point is that if they say your NC is not done, likely they mean it.
The last time I called (last week), the officer mentioned that there are still 40k-50k cases (I think he means 485) pending
