My background is just so so. PhD from China, permanent research position in a public university in biomedical fields. 3 English papers, couple of Chinese papers, not many citations. Several awards in China and in US (not big). Bunch of abstracts in China, Japan and US. 7 recommendation letters from US and 2 from outside.
I think I met all the six qualifications of the EB-1B but none of them is very strong. So just be confident if you think you are qualify.
