question re: i140 premium processing

I recently filed I140 and I485 concurrently. Could someone please give me some advice on the following? Is there an advantage to request a premium processing on I140 in this case? That is, does USCIS always start process I485 after I140 approval or can I485 be processed before I140 approval so long as the PD is current? Thanks a lot!!
