To Xiaobaitu and other experts:photo requirement for AP

Last year when I applied AP, I ted the front-view photo. This year I want to apply for a new AP. I just read the instuctions in AP application form and found 3/4 quarter front-view photo is required. Could anybody help me to clarify what kind of photo is required for AP application?
