Question about visa status and drive license

My F-1 I-20 will expire 12/31/2006. My current status is AOS with EAD because my I-140 has been approved and I-485 is pending. The current rule is that the drive license is renewed based on the duration of I-20. In my situation, how can I renew my drive license? Does anybody have same experience? Thanks for your input.
