All the information I got from here means YES. My I-140 was approved in June. H1 expires at the end of this month. The staff in the international office told me I can only extend my H1 for the time that I was not in this country. Why do I get two different results? Who is right?
My boss wishs me to extend my H1 for just 4 weeks that I was not in this country. If I could extend for one year that would be wonderful. Any one know where I could find the reference? Thank you very much.
