Note: MOR must be filed within 30 days or 33 days. u must have a reasonable explanation for ur failure to show. "on time"/unreasonable".

MOR is more complicated than what can be described here.

Qs to think.

1. did u receive the notice before the interview?
2. if you received the notice before (even one day in advance), u must appear for the interview. failure to appear for the interview would result in a denial.


Example for u:
Applicant did not receive the notice (moved, the old landlord was not that nice, did not infor applicant). Lawyer did not receive it either. 485 denied. MOR fild within 30 days or 33 days July 2005. Case was silent in Garden City, NY for almost 8 months, until lawyer used the applicant's daughter's "age out" and threatened to sue. Another interview notice was sent by USCIS.
