Why my name check still pending after 3 FPs? 回複：一般排期過了

Xiaobaitu, my case is that I-485 ted to NSC 2 years ago, and I have been taken 3 FPs. I called 2 times since June, and was told NC is still pending with FBI. I am not sure this is true or just an excuse.
