dependent 485 case, please help! Thank you very much

My wife and me filed 485 together and I am the main applicant. My 485 was approved , but my wife is waiting for the name check. My question is in case I am unemployed, can her 485 be approved?
In case I die, can her 485 still be approved? I was through NIW.
