Xiaobaitu,or ther people, Name Check questions

My 485 is still pending in VSC (I did finger print last Nov, code3), and I was told it's stuck in Name Check.

I just renewed my EAD and I had a finger print again recently (this time,only one finger instead of ten fingers) for EAD.

Is this FP for name check or security clearance too??
