I told my lawyer about the FOIPA result ("no record") and USCIS inquary (pending security checks). He said he will write a letter to USCIS. I am not sure if it is useful, though. FOIPA doesn't say specifically that there is no pending "name checking" record, they just said there is no record (in a general database). I don't know what is going on.

I am in NSC, and my case just became current in June (NIW, PD Oct. 2004).
