I am a Postdoc too in a university. Right now, how long dose it take to get NIW approved? I just have 9 months left and I will send out my NIW in two weeks. I hope I have enough time to get NIW approved. But I have to find a new job and start a H-1 transfer in couple of months. Definitely by that time I cannot get my NIW approved. Do you think the H-1 transfer will hurt my I-140, later on the I-485. Thanks!
