To radiology: 485 (EB1b)and faculty, hard money

Does it mean that if one could not be paid by hard money, he will be denied even after I140 is approved? Which center for your colleague?

I submitted to VSC under EB1b. While I140 was approved last Dec, I am still waiting for I485. To be worse, I am not in faculty position.
