Look at the second and third prong for NIW, (The candidate's proposed work will benefit the nation as a whole; and National interest would be adversely affected if a Labor Certification were required for the alien.). You have to have papers and citations to show that your work is benefiting the country. You have to have papers and/or grants to show that you are so good that the country benefit will be hurt if you have to go through the tedious LC process. You may ask Zhang Associates for an idea. They have good reputation for NIW. Just my two cents.
