Why 中國政府不會回答這種調查? No reason

For Chinese government, being a communist party member is glorious, not something to be ashamed of!
If us government simply asks "Is this guy, XXX, a communist party member?", I don't think chinese government would ever think of lying for him, of course the assumption is that they first would care to answer. They would simply tell the truth.
