The statement is not strong enough to address immigration officer's concern. A RFE means that officer has questioned your eligibility in the natinoal interest waiver, so a stronger recommendation would increase the chance of your NIW approval.

If you still have time, find another professor. Some American just do not understand the immigration petition, so they don't like to write letter as allpicant's draft.
