From my experience, you need to be honest. Just tell them what you are thinking. Before landing, I read several reports that they were forced to import their carsn at the time of landing. But when I landed in Canada with my own car, the custome officer agreed to let import later.
After your landing, you will get your maple card by mail in about one month. If you apply for SIN, it will take about one month. It seems to me that you do not necessarily need to apply SIN at the time of landing if you are not going to stay in Canada in the near future. As to medical card, you are not allowed to apply for that until three months later if it is in Toronto. Hope this answer your questions. Good luck with your landing.
