if you start to apply your GC now, you still have your H1 or H4 status. when you file your 485 , your daughter should be here to submit her 485 here, if she is in China, you can file I-824 for her, when your 485 approved, her 824 will alos approved at the same time, but during this time your daugher can;t come to US as H4.
