got a reply from fan-law for the I-485 notice I sent

Just got a reply from Fan-law, said the following info implies a denial notice. Feel very upset about it. Is this true? Who have the same experience, please share with me. Anybody got denial email notification before receiving the formal written letter?

"Our last written notice in this case was returned as undeliverable by the post office on April 25, 2006. To update the mailing address so this notice can be re-sent, please call the National Customer Service Center at [phone]."
