Please help! 485 pending, lost job, how long we can wait befeore

Please help! 485 pending(not primary applicater), lost job( H1 still effective in couple of months), how long She can wait befeore transferring to H4? Or when she can find a part time job to keep her H1, is there nesseary to transfer to H4?
