What are you talking about???

I submit I485 through my attorney. But I used my own mailing address. All original notice letters and approve letters were sent to me and CC to my attorney. I think the lawyer can charge you because you have to sign a form (sorry I forget the form number) to state that he is your lawyer not because of using his mailing address. During I485 I moved to a new address and my attorney even helped me change address. And as far as I know all my colleagues are using their own mailing address instead of lawyer's address.
