OPT to H4

If OPT ended in Sep, and H4 is valid from Oct, there is a 1.5 month gap ( no
status). Is the gap period OK?Or need do sth to cover the gap?Thanks.

Also is that Ok to file H4 in July if H1 is valid from Oct 1st (approved before July)? Thanks.
