Same employer/using AP if want to keep H1B?!

My ex-employer sponsored me for my EB1, now I have transfered H1B to another company, will get the new H1B in two weeks, and I plan to apply for AP document. In my case, can I still keep my H1B if I use AP after two months. I heard that AP will not affect H1B if work for the same employer. Same company here means the same company of 485 sponsor with my current H1B sponsor? Thanks a lot...
