Based on my observation and the information I collected, those submitted 485s will be processed for the collection of preliminary infomation such as fingerprint and RFEs, but the last step 485 approval and/or green card issurance will not take place until your PD becomes current.

The processing date from each service center does reflect the progress of 485 processing but doesn't mean your case should be processed. If you call them, they will give you an excuse like your PD has not become current yet.

So just be patient, nothing you can do until your PD becomes current unless you are requested to do something by USCIS.

If your PD is approaching and you are stuck in name check, one thing you can do is to write a letter to FBI to inquire your name check status or to remind them not forget your case.
