1. Use EAD, if something bad happens, leave and come back on H1B. I think that you have at least 4 months if you have not receive any RFE about your 140. Anyway having an EAD in your posession does not hurt.

2. Change to other status, such as O1, L1
3. Talk to company lawyer if H-1B portability applies to you. It is in controversy, and not many lawyers dare to try it.
