As my opinion,ur I-485 maybe will meet some troubles because seem no immediate connection between your NIW field & your current job.I suggest that you should try to go back your previous research field before your I-485 prioriy date becoming current,otherwise it's diffcult to explain that why it's advantageous to the national interest of USA if you live here.
